Many of our clients, old and new, will know that Regan Consulting is a long-established Melbourne family careers consultancy, founded by Anne, Tim and Kate Regan in the late 1980s.
In the face of Tim’s untimely passing in 2024 and, in order to continue Tim’s legacy as one of Australia’s finest minds in careers counselling, Kate has forged ahead with the business, with the intention of renewing Regan Consulting for the next generation of Australians keen to make their mark.
In the current situation where the world seems to be more changeable than ever, any future planning becomes challenging, especially in terms of choosing a career or planning trajectories for further education. It is crucial, therefore, to understand the personal scenarios we may face in the future and to seek expert advice concerning any decisions we make concerning vocational education and training.
Our careers counsellors are extremely experienced in advising on a wide range of vocational and educational matters. As mentioned above, all the staff at Regan Consulting are dedicated to continuing the legacy of our founders, Tim and Anne Regan, two of the most respected and celebrated consultants in the educational industry.

For year 10 to 12 students – explaining the many and varied requirements for students in these critical years – from subject choices to work experience to meeting tertiary course entry requirements. Critically, our consultants can help students map out an educational pathway that gives them the best chance of fulfilling a vocation in their chosen career. Tertiary and post-graduate students – advice in selecting the best course of study beyond secondary school. Helping to plan for an achievable work/study/leisure balance.
OUR SPECIALIST YEAR 12 SERVICES:
- Advice on Entry to university, TAFE, private provider colleges, apprenticeships and traineeships
- Advice on tertiary courses available Australia-wide, pre-requisite studies required, suitability of courses to particular students.
- Assistance with VTAC preference selection in Term 3 and change of VTAC preferences in December.
- Pathways for gaining entry to courses, other than the via ATAR scores.
